for young people

The Showtime Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit, charitable organization established in 2022.  Our mission is to foster authentic leaders through various levels of support, including scholarship awards, mentoring and leadership development opportunities for Metropolitan Detroit students.
Acceptance and participation in our programs are the same for everyone, without regard to religion, race, color, national origin, age sex, disability or sexual preference.

Several of our connections began growing up in Detroit, Michigan. We are intellectual giants who met at one of our country’s premier higher education institutions, Michigan State University — Go Green!  We soon learned that we shared many similarities, including a cunning mix of street knowledge combined with academic prowess. 
Our Detroit swagger, confident attitude and stylish demeanor made us stand out as we navigated new experiences on a college campus. As our friendships grew, the unwavering loyalty and dedication to one another became apparent to all who met us.  
Showtime quickly made our mark at MSU and became known as a force, overcoming any obstacles in our path. We moved as a unit around campus and we honestly enjoyed the attention our bond afforded us. We connected on many levels — socially, scholastically, spiritually, and most importantly, with a keen focus on achieving the goal of becoming college graduates.
Ultimately, we all have transcended the limitations of those who doubted what we would become! We are husbands, fathers, mentors, and masters of education. We’ve fostered successful careers and lend our expertise in multiple sectors, including real estate, construction, major manufacturing, operations, sports and entertainment, energy development, medicine, and entrepreneurial growth. 
We understood the assignment — that we are the hope of our ancestors. In that spirit, we have agreed that the next phase of our lives will include affording the same opportunity to young people who come from where we come from and embody the spirit of our brotherhood. If not us, who? Showtime!
